This We Believe

As a church there are some key principles we hold dear.

That The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God
In One God who exists eternally in three Persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit(Holy Ghost)
In the sovereignty of God
In the omnipotence, omnipresence and omniscience of God
In Jesus, the only begotten son of the Father, who was conceived of the Holy Ghost; born of the Virgin Mary
In his sinless life, in his miracles, in his crucifixion and atonement through His shed blood on the cross, in His resurrection, in His ascension into heaven to the right hand of the Father where He is making intercession for us and in His personal and visible return in power and glory
That all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and that it is necessary for forgiveness of sins
That justification, regeneration and the new birth are wrought by faith in the Blood of Jesus
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to lead a godly life and by whose sealing the believer is promised an inheritance at the day of redemption. We believe that the power of the Holy Spirit enables the church to fulfill Christ’s great Commission
In the bodily resurrection of both saved and lost. Those who are saved unto the resurrection of life and those who are lost to the resurrection of damnation
In the Lord’s supper commemorating His death until He comes
In the washing of the saints’ feet
In water baptism by immersion and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost to demonstrate our faith in the crucified, buried and risen Saviour with its effect on our death to sin and resurrection to a new life.
