• Holiness requires us focusing on Christ’s second coming (vs 13)
  • Holiness/Holy Living begins in the mind
    • Holiness requires us to guard what enters the mind as carefully as we guard what we eat
  • Holiness/Holy Living requires spiritual alertness
  • Holiness/Holy Living is motivated by His grace
• Holiness requires us obeying God all of our lives (vs 14-15b)
  • We must break with the former lifestyle
    • We must break with self-centered living that controlled us before we met Christ
  • Establish a habit of obedience as “obedient children”
  • Erase the distinction between sacred and secular
• Holiness requires us growing in our personal knowledge of God’s holiness (vs 15-16)
  • This knowledge of the Holy One has a transforming effect on our lives
