Points:

• Healing takes time – verse 25 -26
  • Healing isn’t always instantaneous.
  • The woman with the issue of blood suffered for twelve years under the hand of physicians.
• Healing takes God – verses 27-29
  • The Bible did not state that the woman was a believer. She hadn’t ever encountered Jesus before.
  • The Bible stated the following:
    • The woman had a condition
    • The woman suffered
    • The woman heard about Jesus
  • Whatever the woman heard about Jesus made her believe that He would be able to do what the doctor’s couldn’t.
  • You don’t have to have a face to face encounter with Jesus for Him to come through for you.
• Healing takes Faith – verses 30-34
  • The woman made a conscious decision to press through the crowd. As she was determined to get her healing.
  • If you are determined and clear about what you want, Jesus will stop for you.
  • If you are not getting a response from God it could be:
    • Your faith is not where it should be.
    • We tell God what we want but we don’t listen and wait for the reply.
• Healing means to bring back or to restore to its original state.
• How can Jesus restore us or bring us back to our original state?
• Sometimes when healing takes place, the characteristics change a little
  • Like a scar left after a cut has healed
