- If you are a child of God… there is NO CONDEMNATION (at all) thanks to the grace of God (Romans 8 v 1)
- In the eyes of God, you are free to come boldly to the throne of God
- Not only did Christ pay the price of the sins for the past and future but He provided a way for us to live in according to the demands/mandates of God
- God has completely forgiven you
- This is not license to sin!
- Those whose lives are invaded by the Holy Spirit – their thoughts and attitudes lead to life and peace
- Those who have accepted Christ have God’s spirit living within us and we are gradually experiencing a change of our thoughts and attitudes (renewing of the mind)
- The Spirit of God produces changes in us we cannot understand
- Life outside the Spirit cannot please God
- Three Promises that are important for us:
- Everyone who is a child of God has received the wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit
- Believers can constantly put to death the deeds of the flesh (willful persistent sin) through the power of the Holy Spirit. There is no sin that can hold us captive!
- If you continue to sin after hearing the truth, that is considered wilful and there is no sacrifice of sin for that.
- Not only has God said you are forgiven of sins, He has adopted you fully as His own!
- Recap points:
