• Emmaus – wherever we go or whatever we do to make ourselves forget that the world holds nothing sacred
• They were remorseful because of their disappointments (vs 13-24)

• They were rebuked because of their disbelief (vs 25-27)
  • Whenever earthly values come in conflict with heavenly principles, expect a sharp rebuke
• They rejoiced because of their discovery (vs 28-35)
  • When you have found a companion or friend in Christ, He will not leave you at any time.
