Points:

Unbeliever refers to two groups of people:
- One who says there is no God or life after death (atheists)
- Those who believe in God and the life after death and who know the truth about God and participate in the act of worship but do NOT have a relationship with Christ as their saviour (unsaved/non-christians)
Unbelievers are also God’s creation. God extends to them His providential care (sends rain on the just and unjust).
Believers must acknowledge them as our neighbours who are also deserving of love.
Believers love is exhibited in the following manner:
- Make intercessory prayers on behalf of the unbelievers
- Invitations are extended to attend worship
- Encouragement to submit their lives to Christ
As believers our love must not just be talk but must be backed with action and truth
- “Love that observes need and does not act to minister to it, is no love at all”
The Love of God:
1. The Declared Love
2. The demonstrated love
3. The invitational love
4. The gifts/goodies that flow from God’s love

- None of us deserve God’s favour but it is extended to both believers and unbelievers
- Love for others must not just be talk but also backed with action
- God’s love has no limits and takes account of every detail of human existence (both material and spiritual needs).
