Proposition: “Whenever the Spirit shows up He changes the dynamics in the room”
Points:
- Do you remember the woman who broke her alabaster box? The fragrance changes the odor in the room.
- About three thousand persons surrendered to the conviction of the preached word and gave room in their hearts and minds to the presence of the Holy Spirit. It was this act of surrender that created the nucleus of the new church at Pentecost. This was a ground breaking moment.
- The new atmosphere saw the redeemed joyfully celebrating salvation in the name of Jesus. (Acts 2:42). The new church immediately followed the apostles teaching, fellowshipping with one another, breaking bread and praying.
