Date: June 28, 2020
Messenger: Rev. W. George Lewis
Topic: Sorry
Scripture: Acts 9:26-30

Proposition:
Affirmation by friends and organizations is not a requirement to proclaim Jesus as the Son of God
- Paul was appointed (upon his conversion) to be a carrier of the message of God – and indeed long before. It was predestined by God
- Fellowship is key to family and faith
- Some scholars argue that Saul may not have preached in Damascus (as in recorded in Acts 9:20 -30). They may not have given him that opportunity since he was just recently a renegade, persecuting the same faith he was not interested in preaching
- Grace can change those who are thought to be unchangeable!
- Grace made the difference in Saul’s life!
- Every man’s encounter with God is a private experience and the church would do well to seek the mind of God on how to process people
- Helping others to know about Jesus is important to our calling!
- Be consistent with the message!
Go after Jesus! With passion!
