Points:
- What does it mean to “consider trials and tribulations joy”?
- Think about the trials and tribulations you are going through and see if you can pick out some good that may exist in it
- Sunshine wouldn’t feel as special without rainy days
- Suffering will produce joy at the end
- Testing of our faith will produce endurance (vs 3)
- If you pray for endurance, God will put you in situations to cause you to push a little harder.
- God works on us all individually.
- As Christians, we must train our minds by reading the word of God. We must train our spirit by constantly praying and seeking God.
- Don’t concern yourself with what you are going through and how things are going ”too much” for you to handle.
- Instead, remember that “greater is He that is in us that he that is in the world”. With God, we are able to overcome any challenge
- There is joy in setbacks
